The Wild Weather

I heard that we were going to have a long, cold winter this year. However, I have failed to see the signs. It's currently January, and it's forty sometimes even fifty degrees. I have been taking advantage of this weather by going discing with my friends. If you would of told me back in July that I would be discing during January, I would think you belong in a mental ward. However, this weather seems to shoot the logic of the January weather, but i'm not complaining. Just a little shocked.
This past weekend, I went discing with Jon Dvorak, Kacy Snyder, and Nate O'brien for hours at a time. The weather was chill, but very manageable. It almost felt like it was still late Fall rather than the heart of Winter. That was until Jon threw a good amount of his disc into the crick. He had to go get them, and it was clear that the water was freezing cold. Jon didn't enjoy having to get his disc, but the rest of us thought it was pretty funny. We had so many weird and ironic things happen the past few weeks while discing. That's why i'm glad this weather is acting weird in the best possible way. It's always nice when you get to go have fun with your friends, and not have the climate affect anything.
